Scouting can only run because of the time people give up freely to make it happen
Behind the Leaders there are others making it all happen. Volunteers who fundraise so activities are as accessible as they can be. Volunteers who are part of the Executive Body who make sure the Scout Group runs efficiently. Volunteers who have specific skills that can help us maintain our property and equipment. Whoever you are, there is a role for you.
Whatever you can do, it is probably required and if you don’t ask we’ll never know!
Volunteering for Scouting is one of the most fun, rewarding and positive things you can ever do. You can give as much or a little time you like (every little helps!). We have opportunities that can fit whatever skills you have and can design activity programmes around the volunteers available.
Don’t be afraid of what you don’t know – we can teach you all the skills you need, you only need rise to the challenge.
